Both short Gambia excursions start with a visit to the Kachikally Crocodile Pool in Bakau, then take you in different directions: the City Experience continues into Banjul for Arch 22, city sights and busy market life, while Garden Adventures visits botanical gardens and women’s horticultural gardens where local families grow vegetables and fruit. Tours run in the morning or afternoon for 2–6 guests, with pickup from your hotel or apartment in Kololi and nearby resort areas. Prices start at €40 per person.

Both tours begin at the Crocodile Pool in Bakau, where you can see the sacred crocodiles, the small museum and the old silk cotton tree. After that, choose the half that suits you best.
Choose this if you want to see everyday Gambian life. From Bakau the tour continues into Banjul, the capital, for the Arch 22 area, city landmarks and the colour and noise of local markets. A good first-day tour if you want to understand the country quickly.
Choose this for a quieter, greener morning. After the Crocodile Pool you visit the botanical garden, Bakau’s women’s horticultural garden and the Yundum women’s garden near the airport, learning how vegetables, fruit and local plants are grown and sold.
Both tours last half a day, include pickup from your hotel or apartment, and run for 2–6 guests. Drinks in restaurants are not included. Groups of 3 or more may qualify for a discount.
